VISA INFORMATION FOR CONFERENCE PARTICIPANTS

International participants attending EduTeachAI2027 are responsible for obtaining the appropriate permission to enter Thailand. Visa requirements depend on the participant's nationality, passport type and purpose/duration of travel.
1. Check whether you need a visa
Before applying, participants should check the latest visa requirements for their nationality through the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand.

Thailand's visa-exemption arrangements have recently been revised, and the Thai authorities advise travellers to check the applicable scheme before travelling.
2. If you are eligible for visa exemption
Participants whose nationality qualifies for Thailand's applicable visa-exemption scheme may enter Thailand without obtaining a visa in advance, subject to the conditions applicable at the time of travel.
For example, the Thai government's published 60-day exemption list has included Sri Lanka, India, China, Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, the United States, Japan, Singapore and many European countries. However, Thailand announced changes to this scheme in May 2026, so participants should verify their status before making travel arrangements.

3. If you require a visa
Participants who require a visa should apply through the Thailand e-Visa system or the appropriate Royal Thai Embassy/Consulate serving their country of residence.

Applicants should select the visa category appropriate to their circumstances and carefully follow the document requirements shown in the official e-Visa system.
Thailand's Ministry of Foreign Affairs indicates that visa applicants generally need a passport with at least six months' validity, a completed application and photograph, together with supporting documents appropriate to the purpose of travel.
4. Documents recommended for conference participants
Participants applying for a Thai visa may be asked to provide supporting documents such as:
- Valid passport
- Completed visa application
- Recent passport photograph
- Proof of accommodation in Thailand
- Confirmed or proposed travel itinerary
- Evidence of sufficient financial support
- Conference registration/acceptance confirmation
- Official EduTeachAI2027 invitation letter, where applicable
- Other documents requested by the Thai Embassy/Consulate or e-Visa system
Participants should check the exact requirements applicable to their nationality before submitting an application.
5. Conference Invitation Letter
Registered participants who require supporting documentation for their visa application may request an official EduTeachAI2027 invitation/confirmation letter from the conference organizers.

An invitation letter does not guarantee the issuance of a Thai visa. The final decision regarding visa issuance rests solely with the relevant Thai authorities.
6. Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC)
All non-Thai nationals entering Thailand are required to complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) before arrival.
The TDAC should be submitted within 3 days before the scheduled arrival date. It is an arrival/immigration document and is not a visa.

7. Important advice for participants
Participants are strongly advised to:
- Check their nationality-specific visa requirements well in advance.
- Apply for a visa as early as possible if one is required.
- Ensure that the passport has sufficient validity.
- Keep a copy of their conference acceptance/registration confirmation.
- Request an EduTeachAI2027 invitation letter if required for their visa application.
- Check the latest requirements immediately before travelling.
- Complete the TDAC within the permitted period before arrival.
